Ace Initiative Scam – Pyramid Scheme or a Legit Opportunity?

So, you’ve seen some video ads posted on Facebook or YouTube that led you to Ace Initiative.

And, you wanted to know if this is a good business opportunity as advertised.

I’m glad you found this Ace Initiative review because I am going to share with you the stuff that no one else promoting the program dares to tell you.

Ace Initiative Scam ReviewAce Initiative Scam Review

Yes, I am going to expose the entire business setup of Ace Initiative so that you can make an informed decision.

Before we get to the heart of this review, let us understand what this program is all about.

How I Fired My Boss and Still Earn a Full-Time Income. Here’s How You Can Too!

What is Ace Initiative?

Ace Initiative has been flying under the radar for quite a while now, and a member of the public has requested for a review on this program.

So, here I am revealing all secrets of this program.

The company is founded by Brandon Odom, Bryan Hodgson, and Travis Fox.

All of whom are distributors of Enagic, and members of Global Affiliate Zone (GAZ).

Ace Initiative - Learning CenterAce Initiative - Learning Center

If you know how GAZ is related to Enagic, then you can easily guess what Ace Initiative is all about.

To put it simply, Ace Initiative is an “automated sales funnel” that recruits people into a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company called Enagic.

This concept is exactly the same as GAZ and another program called Digital Genius Lab.

Global Affiliate Zone is the pioneer of Enagic’s automated sales funnel, which led to the creation of Ace Initiative and Digital Genius Lab.

I am sure there’ll be more similar programs surfacing the internet because of the overwhelming response to the hype.

Ace Initiative Scam Review – The Dashboard

Upon paying $99 for the Ace Initiative membership, you’ll be led to your “personalized” dashboard where you are introduced to the 4 simple steps:

  1. Book Your Strategy Call
  2. Onboarding Training
  3. Complete Your Profile
  4. Fast Start to Profitable Online Marketing

#1: Book Your Strategy Call

Steps 2 to 4 are locked unless you book a strategy call with a Coach of your choice.

Ace Initiative - Everything Locked

Once the strategy call is booked, you’ll have access to everything in the program.

You are advised to complete your Onboarding Training before jumping into the strategy call with your coach.

That way, you will know “what you are getting into”.

Let us now go through the Onboarding Training, shall we?

#2: Onboarding Training

In the introduction video of this training, Bryan Hodgson mentioned that he turned his bank account from $200 to $15,000 in just 4 days by learning the simplified stuff taught by Brandon Odom, and they are going to produce the same results for you.

Here’s what they claimed you can learn from Ace Initiative:

  • The skill set for you to start any online business;
  • You’ll know how to turn your passion into a full blown business;
  • Build your personal brand.

Thereafter, you’d be taught the golden formula to earn six figures online.

So, what’s that formula?

Ace Initiative Scam - Formula

Brandon Odom didn’t specifically mentioned about Enagic in this video, but he did mention it as you move towards the completion of this training.

This Golden Formula is not something new, in fact, it has been around since the “make money online” idea was introduced.

To earn a good income online, you need a high ticket offer (meaning a program that pays you a commission of $500 or more for successfully selling something online for a vendor).

And, in order for you to sell something online, you need eyeballs on your offer (“Traffic”), and you need an automated system that will do the selling and telling for you (the “Conversion Process”).

It seems as though you can learn all the elements of the Golden Formula with Ace Initiative, but…

You’ll only be learning about getting “Traffic”.

You can leave the other 2 elements to Ace Initiative.

Now, it seems like a good thing that you can leverage on Ace Initiative for the other 2 elements and focus on generating “Traffic”.

But, we’ll talk more about the downside of this model below.

The 10 Coaching Questions

Right after the introduction video, you’d be asked to answer 1o personal questions.

It is not surprising that these questions are fairly similar to the ones I’ve mentioned in the Digital Genius Lab review.

You can compare the following set of questions to the Digital Genius Lab:

Ace Initiative Scam - Questionnaire

Have you compared them to the questions in Digital Genius Lab yet?

Leave a comment below and let me know what you think.

Simply speaking, if you want me to summarize the Ace Initiative in one sentence, I’ll say that it is an exact replica of Digital Genius Lab.

#3: Complete Your Profile

This is where you’ll input all of your profile info, like the link to your Facebook Fan Page, Instagram profile, Snapchat profile, Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook Pixel (for tracking), and Google Analytics (for tracking as well).

When everything is in place, the people whom you’ve referred to Ace Initiative will see your profile info like the following on the right side of the members’ area:

Ace Initiative - Profile Sample

#4: Fast Start to Online Marketing

This is the section where you will learn how to set up your Ace Initiative business.

Here are the basic steps:

  1. Set up your Ace Initiative Profile
  2. Build your Facebook Fan Page
  3. Create “Quality” content on Your Facebook page
  4. Brand Yourself
  5. Create Video Ads
  6. Run an ad on Facebook
  7. Chat with people on Facebook Messenger
  8. Expect money to roll in

Ace Initiative focuses very much on Facebook ads, and I can honestly tell you that you are just throwing money at Facebook if you don’t know what you are doing.

I’ve spent thousands of dollars on Facebook ads with a negative return on investment, and the thing is, I trusted training programs like Ace Initiative.

Even with the “awesome” training, you still run the risk of losing money.

Training without successful examples

You see, the training with Ace Initiative provides you with surface knowledge.

They teach you how to create and run ads, but they do not teach you what metrics to track so that you know you are profitable.

You’ll learn about “quality” content creation, but their quality means dolling up a “successful quotes”, but not actually creating content that matters to people.

They teach you about branding, but what exactly is the brand image you want people to perceive when you have nothing to show for?

You’ll get to see how Bryan Hodgson closes a prospect on Facebook Messenger, but that’s not a successful example.

Plus, I thought I am going to learn how to close a prospect using Facebook Chat bots, because it is one of the hottest topics on Facebook, but I guess I am wrong.

Don’t get me wrong, some of the training materials are well done, but they are not conducive enough that will eventually lead you to success.

The Downside of the Ace Initiative Opportunity

#1: High Cost Opportunity

Ace Initiative Scam - high cost

On top of paying $99 per month to Ace Initiative, you need to purchase a product from Enagic in order for everything to work.

Which means that you’ll be a few thousand dollars poorer before you even start this business opportunity.

Enagic is an MLM company that distributes high quality water filtration system, and their cheapest water machine cost $1,980.

And, if you decide to buy the most expensive system, K8, it’ll cost you $4,980.

Here’s a breakdown of how the Enagic Compensation plan works:

#2: What is the purpose of Ace Initiative?

Why are you paying $99 per month for?

Is it for education? No!

You are paying for the automated selling system.

Instead of going through the traditional way from door to door sales, you can now subtly promote Enagic through Ace Initiative on Social Media channels.

This will attract people who want to earn money online.

Ace Initiative is said to be an educational platform that teaches you how to turn your passion into profits, but unfortunately, it is nothing more than a self-recruitment system.

Every piece of educational advice leads you to promoting Ace Initiative and eventually Enagic.

This constant focus on recruitment makes this look like a pyramid scheme.

#3: Is Ace Initiative really a Pyramid Scheme?

Before I leave my opinion, let’s see what the Federal Trade Commission has to say.

Ace Initiative Scam - What FTC says about Pyramid Schemes

Source: www.ftc.gov

I won’t say that Enagic is a pyramid scheme, because I do believe that their products has retail value.

But, the constant focus on recruitment in Ace Initiative makes Enagic look like a pyramid scheme.

People who went through the Ace Initiative sales funnel bought the products not because they have the use of it.

They bought it because they want to be a part of the business opportunity.

It is the intention that makes this look more like a pyramid opportunity than a direct sales opportunity.

What do you think? Is Ace Initiative a Pyramid Scheme? Share your thoughts with me in the comment section below.

#4: Restricted to promoting Enagic

Remember how Brandon Odom claims that this program teaches you how to turn your passion into profits?

Well, this is sort of untrue.

Though you get some basic knowledge on how to promote a product online, all of the training material points towards promoting Enagic.

Now, my question is, “Are you passionate about promoting a water system?”

If your answer is no, then there’s no point for you to be a part of Ace Initiative.

Learn how to truly turn Your Passion into Profits here!

#5: Ace Initiative is aiming for the wrong crowd

You see, whenever you join a direct sales company, you are a representative of the company.

Which means that you should be passionate about what you sell.

If you join Enagic, the right group of people to target are the people who are in need of a water filtration system.

An example would be a friend of mine whose father has stage 4 cancer, and he is looking for ways to better his health.

Or, it could be some other reasons.

But, it is definitely not those people who are looking to earn more money.

That is just the wrong crowd, and that’s exactly the group of people Ace Initiative is targeting.

Ace Initiative is not attracting the people who really need the Water System.

But, they are creating that “need” through its automated sales process.

My Sincere Advice to You

If you think that you will learn how to become an independent affiliate marketer, then you may be in for a ride.

The talks about learning how to promote any kinds of online products are actually false.

Ace Initiative is nothing more than just an automated sales funnel for Enagic.

Which means that every piece of educational material in Ace Initiative teaches you how to promote the products of Enagic.

Ace Initiative is simply a replica of Global Affiliate Zone and Digital Genius Lab.

To decide if you should join Ace Initiative and Enagic, the first question I recommend you ask yourself is, “are you are passionate about promoting the Enagic Water Systems”.

If your answer is no, then there’s really no point in joining either of the programs.

What do I recommend?

You see, I don’t make any assumptions or opinions about a program until I’ve personally experienced it.

I’ve experienced hundreds of online business opportunities, and I can immediately spot if a program is good, bad or simply a scam.

Though I wouldn’t say that Ace Initiative is a scam, but its constant focus on recruitment makes this opportunity look like a pyramid scheme.

If you are serious about learning how to become a true independent affiliate marketer, then these are the courses I recommend:

  1. Wealthy Affiliate – Learn Affiliate Marketing through content creation
  2. Legendary Marketer – Promoting Affiliate products through Social Media
  3. Authority Hacker – Learn how to build authoritative websites
  4. Inbox Blueprint – Learn how to use email marketing for affiliate products
  5. Fizzle – Learn how to promote any affiliate products through online marketing

Out of the bunch, I personally recommend Wealthy Affiliate because it is the program that got me to eventually fire my boss and earn a full-time income online.

  1. Thank you Jack, and everyone who commented. I’ve been corresponding with a sponsor of Ace for a couple weeks now but I didn’t know that she was even affiliated with Ace or what it was until after I agreed to get started (before payment though). I was so hesitant to join because her whole approach was all about spiritual growth which is what attracted me to her ad in the first place since I am a spiritual person. However, Everytime I tried to ask her detailed questions like “what exactly will I be doing once I join/how will I make money”, or “where does my $99 go and what is it for exactly?” She had NO clear answers at all, rather she just beat around the bush like “you’ll be building a brand based on what you love” and “you pay for the training and tools for success” which is pretty generic and not detailed enough in my opinion. So once I Finally learned the name of the company she was affiliated with (ACE) by finally agreeing to sign up, I was finally able to start doing my own research which lead me to this review! And now I believe it is pretty clear that this is NOT for me! I believe you can make money this way, however this is not what I looking to sign up for, I can’t afford to invest so much money up front.

  2. Anyone writing a review should not be promoting another product or service related to what the review is about.

This is the sleaziest way to get sales and anyone who doesn’t see this reviews sole purpose is to make money by giving a negative review of its competitor needs a reality check.

    1. I see no problem in sharing my opinion on a certain program because I have quite a lot of experience in it, and people who agrees with my opinion would want to know if there is an alternative.

So, I don’t think that it is sleazy in any way, I am sharing the facts and allowing people to decide for themselves. If my facts are flawed or untrue, then it is not ethical for me to write a false review, but in this case, everything that I’ve written are true and factual.

      Thanks for sharing your opinion!

      Cheers!

  3. WugglezZz says:

Ceo Movement is another one recruiting for Enagic. Their hook is that Keala Kanae is a part of their team (the AWOL dude)

  4. Man you are just another marketer doing the same exact thing. In order to make a living you have to sell a service or a product or work for someone selling a product or service. You’re doing the exact same thing as the platform like Ace teaches.

    1. I couldn’t agree with you more that you have to promote a product or service in order to make a living online. There is no denial about that.

I’m sorry you feel that way about my review, but my goal was to share with you everything you need to know about the program, and if you’d still think that it is a good program, then go ahead with it.

I am providing an alternative route to people who genuinely wants to learn how to earn money online without restricting themselves to selling one product. I do have a lot of experience in this field and that’s why I am sharing my 2 cents about the program, plus, I do more than just promote a product, I coach and guide people to achieve results.

Anyway, sorry for the way you feel about the review, I wish you all the best in your endeavors.

      Cheers!

  5. Daryl Millard says:

    Hi Jack,

Thanks a lot for the review. I have just signed up to the ace initiative and really appreciate the review. I came on board looking for an online business and to learn some skills, not looking for a water filtration system.

Although by coincidence I do really believe Kangen Water systems are great for the majority of society as I have been involved in natural health and well-being.

I will check out the education options you listed and also go down this route if this is going to serve me better in the future. If I buy a high quality water filter system that will serve my family for many years and that is all I get, it is not a massive loss.

Thanks again for the review very helpful for someone starting out on the interent.

    Daryl

    1. You are most welcome Daryl! I am glad that my review helped.

      Cheers!

  6. I am an affiliate of The Ace Initaitive.

It’s truly unfortunate that people feel this way.

I have always been very inclined to be as transparent as possible.

I believe in the product being marketed, and there is true value to it. The problem with the review that I see is that this is a one sided opinion. There are over a thousand that have a different view, but that is ok.

I have had multiple people go through my funnel with objections from scam reviews and it has been such a great objection especially since I am sure to be open about the back end product as much as I am about the rest of the program, community, updated training and so forth.

Some people may or may not be open about the back end and that’s the hard part about running an affiliate program with a back end offer like this one.

Misrepresentation!!! People do not seem to be cognizant to the fact that they are representing not only themselves as a public figure and proprietor but someone’s business and in this case multiple businesses.

I’m sorry that you have had a bad experience. I would love to see your view point change bro, but it’s ok. I know that not everyone will have the same experiences because their sponsor, or their coach may have different motivations as others. But I hope that the spectrum of change begins to filter and adjusts the experiences that you and the two other people had who have commented.

In the meantime Godspeed. I wish you well Jack! Take care buddy.

    1. Hey Will,

Thanks for sharing and I am glad that you are not one of those people who tries to hide facts from people. I truly respect that.

I also believe that the Kangen water helps, but not the way people markets it.

I wish you all the best in your journey as a Enagic distributor as well! Godspeed!

      Cheers!

  7. Hey jack, so after reading your review on Ace Marketing I learnt the 99$ USD is only for the sales platorm and not the pruduct we have to buy outright to sell? The catch is you have to refer people to the program saying there is a massive opporrtunity to raise revenue to afford the products for resale. Seems sketchy and if you dont have the money to invest straight up you funneling 99$ to them to gain a %.

    1. Yup! You got that right!

Like you said, you are paying $99 per month for the sales platform. You can send people straight to the sales platform, and it will do all the selling and telling for you.

But, in order to maximize your return, you will have to buy an expensive product from Enagic, and become an affiliate.

If you don’t become an affiliate of Enagic (you have to buy a product to become one), then you’ll be leaving money on the table.

This is the fact that they hide from you.

      Cheers!
      ~Jack (BareNakedScam)

  8. I have been in contact with 2 people involved with Ace and had a an online chat with them. To be honest all the guy really went on about was the residual income you make from referrijg other people to the program and he even showed his account, which seemed to be pretty much all he was making money from – the sales % for referring people. Nothing made sense, he was talking so fast and not really showing me or explaining anything. The only item he referred to was an expensive watch as an example. He said it was luxury items you promote and get commissions for advertising online. Nothing was said about having to purchase products upfront. And paying US $99 every month….needless to say it all made me suspicious so I didn’t follow through

    1. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and experience Dee!

      Cheers!
      ~Jack (BareNakedScam)

  9. Removed at the request of the user.

    1. Thanks! Glad that my review helped!

      Cheers!
      ~Jack (BareNakedScam)

  10. Thank you so much for this review! It was just what I needed! After asking many questions many of times to a recruiter – you have answered many more then they are able to!

    1. You are most welcome Anon! I am glad this review helped.

      Cheers!
