Update 8 February 2018: Federal Trade Commission (FTC) halts Digital Altitude
Following to an announcement from the FTC, Digital Altitude is forced to halt their operations, and I think this could be the beginning of the end of Digital Altitude.
Many Digital Altitude members I’ve come across has been singing praises for the program, but the fact is that they have “invested” heavily into the program which inherently forces them to “go all out” to find new recruits, so that they can earn back whatever that they have “invested”.
Unfortunately, more than 90% of the people who were sold to the idea of becoming “rich” in 90 days, and have spent thousands of dollars on the multi-tiered products of DA, didn’t earn a substantial income. That caught the eye of the Government.
Since the Government has its interest on Digital Altitude, I’m wondering what the fate would be for other similar Online Business Programs like “My Online Business Empire (MOBE)” and “Six Figure Mentors“.
A while ago, the Digital Altitude owner, Micheal Force, was being sued by Matt Lloyd of MOBE for a copyright infringement (reproduction) of the Digital Assets.
It’s unfortunate that DA has to face another uphill battle with the giants.

Is Digital Altitude Scam? – My Interesting findings
Well, there has been so much hype surrounding this company, and many marketers have claimed that they have made a ton of money in a short span of time.
I saw in one of the review site claiming that he has made $1,312.84 in 7 days, and $17.071.67 in his first month following the Digital Altitude’s step-by-step system.
Let me explain to you, why you, as a novice, will not be able to achieve the same result.
I’m not being pessimistic, but realistic.
A little history about Digital Altitude and its founder, Michael Force, who was once a top leader of another program called Carbon Copy Pro or Pro U.
When Carbon Copy Pro’s profits dipped into the red zone, and changed its business model to be know as Six Figure Mentors now, Michael Force was forced to change his path as well.
There is a complaint lodge against him for his work ethic.
Michael Force was also a one of the leader of Empower Network, another dying MLM company which is known to use unscrupulous techniques to woo new subscribers.
Even more, he was the “personal coach” of a known scam called Mobile Money Code. You can find more information here.
If I guess correctly, Michael Force was also one of the top leaders in My Top Tier Business (MTTB), being that many training materials in Digital Altitude are identical to MTTB. I will discuss more with you below.
Having such a bad rep in the Online Marketing Industry, you would be curious what kind of product he can developed.
No doubt he has made a lot of money doing what he did, but whether or not it is ethical, is another tale to tell.
Alright, enough about Michael Force. Lets focus on Digital Altitude.
Digital Altitude uses Training Materials from other programs?
Digital Altitude system is identical to Six Figure Mentors and My Top Tier Business.
In fact, most of the training materials in Digital Altitude are a spun off from My Top Tier Business. Lets take a look:
As I went through the training materials in Digital Altitude, I thought I saw these presentation slides in some other programs before.
That is when I remember, My Top Tier Business uses those as well. I’ve done an in depth review of MTTB back in 2014. Here is the MTTB’s review if you are interested to find out.
I guess this is what they call “Caught Red Handed”.
Why Digital Altitude is a spin off from MTTB?
Like Six Figure Mentors and MTTB, each step of the system, you will hit a roadblock.
You are supposed to schedule a call with your “Mentor” before you can proceed further.
For a novice, this may be a good experience as you know someone is there to help you, but for experienced marketers like myself, it gets irritating.
After getting more in depth with the Digital Altitude’s system, I realize one very important thing;
DIGITAL ALTITUDE AND MTTB ARE EXACTLY THE SAME!
The video presentation and slides from both programs are presented by none other than Michael Force.
If you have been in the online business space like I do, and you’ve tried and tested a ton of programs, you would probably find some programs using one another’s materials.

You will see Michael Force in all the videos:
The only difference between Digital Altitude and MTTB is its “Top Tier” products. By top tier, it means VERY EXPENSIVE product.
MTTB has its own top tier products called My Online Business Empire (MOBE), while Digital Altitude has its product range, Aspire, Base, Rise, Ascend, Peak and Apex.
The prices of the top tier products reaches 5 figures. MTTB’s most expensive product hits $15,000, while Digital Altitude’s Apex hits $27,997.
If I guess correctly, I believe the training videos in MOBE are exactly the same as Digital Altitude’s range of products.
PLEASE NOTE: Any digital marketing training that has an upscale five figure fees is absurd.
I mean, the cost of MOBE and Apex is almost a year of a person’s salary. The cost can almost cover for a graduate’s tuition fee. Does it make sense?

Why can’t you achieve the same Result as other Marketers?
I am not being pessimistic here, but the claims from other Digital Altitude Marketers got my blood boiling.
Honestly, after personally going through the training, hitting roadblocks one after another, I still couldn’t get a glimpse of the actionable items that will bring me closer to my goals.
All I get are some general knowledge about internet marketing. Each time I give a call to my “Mentor”, she will lead me to upgrade my membership, and the cost of each upgrade escalates.
By the time you complete all the upgrade, you would have burnt a big hole in your pocket. It decreases your net worth tremendously.
Those marketers who claimed to have made money in a short span of time are those who have past experience on Internet Marketing. Their success with Digital Altitude has no correlation to the lessons taught in the program.
I am wondering whether they have actually taken the time to go through those video training themselves.

My Sincere Advice to You
As you can see, Michael Force is reusing content from another program to market it as his own.
This shows much about his work ethic and integrity. Would you want to learn from someone like that?
Also, the prices of Digital Altitude’s products are way out of anyone’s budget. At some point, you will be asked to get a loan from somewhere else to fund the product purchase.
This is something that I will never recommend anyone to do.
The Cost for starting an online business is supposed to be low due to its nature. I have started my online business with a cost of $19.
Over the years, my total cost accumulates to a few hundred dollars but my profits accumulates to 5 figures.
This is how an online business is supposed to work. Not the other way round.
If you are interested to get started with an Online Business, the way I did, I would suggest that you check out this program.

I am a current member of Digital Altitude at the highest level, Apex. Yes, I’m in disbelief. Not so much regarding their current legal battle and that I will soon be out of a job. No, I’m in disbelief at how completely brainwashed I was to actually fork over $40,000 to strangers on the internet in return for financial freedom in less than 90 days! But, what I have an even harder time believing is how they have managed to stay off the Fed’s radar this long. Because if many other members received just a portion of the unethical treatment I dud, there should’ve been an uprising long before now. When you buy into a company as deep as I did, as well as 10s of thousands of other bright and hopeful people, you should at the bare minimum receive fair treatment, kindness, attention, and honesty. I see the investigation was preceded by numerous complaints about their “coaching staff acting in the role of salespeople to get you to buy the extravagant back end “products,” and not coaching you through the steps to learn marketing. I completely agree. I kept every Skype message between my coach and can prove thst out of our entire coorespondance, 85% of them were related to financing the next step, thus increasing their commissions. Then the same day I informed my coach I was able to get funding together for Apex, he have me the boot. I found out that day I would have to buy another coach, which I actually ended up doing. Many other issues I think qualify is poor practices. You are not able to contact anyone for any reason at the company other than email or call support. They field your concerns and either will, or will not allow you to email the dept. you wished to contact. I have no idea who sponsored me. I eas told so many downright lies, half-truths, misconceptions about earning potential. In 5 months I spent approx. $5,000 on advertising, and it was drilled into my head before that time that my only jib was to get the customers to their doors and the coaches took over. Not the case at all. The average contacts the coaches have with the customers after they sign up for the trial is 1.5 in my casee: an email and a text. Despite my daily emails to the 8 new members I brought in, calls, today I have zero! This is the poorest attempt to engage new folks and keep their attention I’ve ever known. There ate more on my list, but the issue that goes beyond anything else by far was a downright fraudulent act done by a woman in their billing department! In a nutshell, I paid for 2 of the higher levels with a paper check which was delivered via UPS and signed for by a billing dept. employee. A week later I found out that they could not cash the check because my bank accidentally put my name on it where there’s should’ve been. As this check was sopposed to be sent back to me in torn pieces, I was convinced to send a wire transfer to replace it, which I did and that went directly into their bank. Another week went by and I received an urgent call from my bank indicating they just payment on that same first check which was deposited into DA’s bank account anyway!! Now, to me, that constitutes fraud, and a deliberate attempt to deceive and steal from me. Then, when I saw the photo of the exact check in my bank account online I saw that it was made out just as it should be, their name in the Pay to: area. So why wasn’t that check for almost $30,000 accepted the first time?? After many attempts to be able to speak to this woman in billing, I received an explanation via email as to why she deposited it after receiving the wired money., which is what I needed to understand. Her response was that
” this was the second check I sent DA, a different one” What??? There never was s second check sent by me to DA. So it appears to me to look much more like an attempt to get me to pay twice for the sample thing than a simple misuderstanding. And then to tell me a lie that was so obvious! I have recently filed a couple complaints with the appropriate agencies. I want a complete refund, an honest explanation, and an apology. I’m not certain what they will do for anyone now who feels like I do, which is that my chances are probably better if I were trying to sell ice to eskimos than to ever make a sale at Digital Altitude after recent events and an ongoing investigation by the FTC.

I fully understand that it gets frustrating dealing with a company like this, and at the same time you feel cheated and unjustified.
My advice to you is to contact FTC and give your testimony to build their case, never leave this ignored. Its a huge amount of money!
If the case goes well, you might be able to get compensation from it.

I spent 2k on the Rise upsell. Man was i so sad after that. This was my first encounter with the whole online money making space. I really thought these people were my mentors. After I upgraded to Rise my “mentor” pushed me to the next level which was $10k. Telling me to get a loan, charge all my credit cards.. etc. I left before they got more of my money. I felt like the biggest fool ever.
I don’t understand how these people can sleep at night knowing they are taking people’s hard earned money and leaving them dry.
Thank God I found Wealthy Affiliate now. Didn’t think there was a honest place on the internet but WA is the real deal.

Sadly, this review is certain motivated by promoting another affiliate program. Digital Altitude never guarantees income. At all. You have to put in the hard work in order to make it happen. This review has ulterior motives and is ill informed. With Digital Altitude, though, the potential for making a large income is there. But there are those who are unsuccessful too, because they don’t put in the time.
The facts have been laid out in detail, those were not stuff that I made up, and I’ve provided my opinion. You are entitled to your opinion too.

Hey My husband is wanting to sign up for digital altitude and I think it’s a scam and he don’t think so. Somebody help please help me prove this is a scam

Digital Altitude is not a scam per se. It is an expensive internet marketing training program that comes with a multi-level marketing compensation plan.
You could earn a lot of money if you are the top 1% of the affiliates, but you could also lose a lot of money if you spend without acting on the knowledge.
There is really a big risk to this, but I wouldn’t call it a total scam.
Maybe you would want to highlight the risk of joining this program because you’ll need to spend a fortune ($20k) to unlock all the courses.
Alternatively, you may also want to ask your husband to check out this other program that cost only a little and you can learn everything that Digital Altitude may teach.

Jack, i agree with you completely, most of the people who claim to make money in these types of programs are the same people who were in EN, MTTB, I will never recommend any newbie to join these type of programs.
i am bought traffic that they say will convert yet i have gotten 0 sales and no refund on bogus traffic
I signed up for Digital Altitude and did the 1st 6 steps called the “Set Up” Process. In the meantime my coach and I were discussing financing to scale up to the Rise Package for $1997! They make it sound like a bargain because they include the Base Package. They really push for you to “scale up”. I got frustrated and realized Digital Altitude didn’t have my back. I ended my membership for $37 a month and I’m searching for a much more reasonable and realistic business model. Amazon Affiliate & Wealthy Affiliate?

What blows my mind is that people will choose a direct sales or mlm over a real business.
Kids are creating apps and taking a shortcut to billions, and some well educated adults are chasing mlm and direct sales.
Hamsters on the same wheel … just a different day.
A fool is born everyday. Those who are a tad smarter or more informed, monetize the less brainy.
My confusion has been the lack of transparency when I think I’m looking into a new company I am listening to a information for Aspire or digital systems which are the same company. I’m confused I do not want to pay up front and do not know the name of the company why are these companies so secretive and waste so much of my time? Auto home profits wants $97 Aspire charged me a dollar for 14 days thereafter $37 a month they provided very little information to unlock six modules that then one at $2,000 . I do not want the auto home profits to be the same thing at the end which almost happened before they change their advertising name and by the time you join your led to Michael Force business.
So if it’s not worth it then what is, I wanna make extra money so I can buy the things I want and not have to worry about my current paycheck not being enough, and so many of my friends are doing quiet well on online business. What do I do?

Thanks for the wire up. I went through the MOBE training modules but at the end is another upsale or figure it out on your own. Meaning build your own site, create a blog, use affiliate marketing ads. I know there is opportunity in online marketing but big ticket sales takes capital and if you come in at a lower tier your commission is passes up to your sponsor if you aren’t at the top tier.
How is digital attitudes a scam when it say you earn 3 percent anyway if you don’t buy any of the products.
I am not saying that it is a scam, but I am asking if you think it is worth joining a program that basically uses other comnpany’s intellectual property to run its business. What if MTTB sued Digital Altitude successfully, and it is forced to shut down? What happens to its affiliates then? What happens to all the hardworking people who poured their heart and soul to promote Digital Altitude.
