Is Thrive Theme suitable for your website?
I am sure that is the question that you need an answer to, and be rest assured that you’ll have your answer by the end of this review.
I use Thrive Theme on a daily basis so I believe I am qualified to write this review.
This site you are looking at uses a wordpress theme called “Performag” which is created by Thrive Theme.
Thrive Theme is more than just a wordpress theme, it has developed several WordPress plugins that are focus on increasing the conversions for the websites. I’ll be introducing all the plugins below:
The Thrive Theme Plugins:
The Thrive Theme membership is a package deal that will unlock a wide range of features and plugins that you can use to improve your business.
These plugins, when used together, can have a drastic positive impact on your business. Some of these plugins are included in the basic membership while others act as standalone products.
In this section, we’ll briefly discuss the main plugins included in the Thrive Theme package.
Thrive Leads Plugin
This is my favourite plugin and it has already improved my conversion rate quite a bit.
Building an email list with Thrive Leads is incredibly easy!
And the tools are provided in this package.
Let’s take a look.
Here is a video that explains what Thrive Leads does:
One thing I have learnt over the years as an Internet Marketer is that almost 98% of the people who leaves your website will never return.
And more than 80% of your website visitors barely take the time to read your content.
So you’re missing out on a lot of readers and potential sales or clients.
No matter how well your content is written, or how valuable your content is, once your visitors leave your website, most of the time, they can barely remember your domain name and they do not know how to return to it.
Thrive Leads allows you to capture the interest of people that are leaving your website.
It gives you a second chance to catch their attention!
Sometimes that’s all you need to make a sale.
Creating an Exit Intent Pop up box will allow you to capture your visitors’ email addresses where you can continually communicate and build a rapport with them .
This will allow you to establish a brand and authority of your website.
Most internet marketers use a simple email opt-in form on the sidebar of their website.
But you can build you email list a lot quicker if you asked for email addresses in the right places.
Thrive Leads has made it easy for Internet Marketers and Business Owners to build an Email Marketing Campaign.
From capturing email addresses to A/B testing the best campaigns to integration with major Autoresponder services, like Aweber.
All these can be done in a matter of minutes without any IT technical skills.
Just drag and drop!
There are also a wide range of professional templates to choose from, and some of these templates are designed after popular internet marketing websites, such as Neil Patel’s website.
To clarify, this plugin does not only create a pop-up when a visitor decides to exit the website.
That’s only one feature!
There are many other features that you can use to build your list.
You don’t have to use the exit pop-up at all.
The other features, Slide-In Form, Embedded Form, and Ribbon, are extremely helpful as well.
These services place a beautiful opt-in form in various locations of your website.
Take a look at some of the screenshots below.
Example of a Lightbox:

Use a combination of Thrive Leads templates to drastically improve email sign-ups!
We all know how important building a list is to your success as an internet marketer.
With Thrive Leads, creating a list is a walk in the park.
It’s definitely my favorite Thrive Theme plugin.
Thrive Content Builder
Not sure how to build a website?
With the Thrive Content Builder, you can build absolutely any type of website you like, even if you do not have any coding background.
The Thrive Content Builder has made it very easy for a beginner to build amazing websites like this:
One thing I was worried about when I first used the Thrive Content Builder plugin was the speed.
Some content builders, like Optimizepress, is a little slower when you try to make an adjustment, like dragging and dropping elements, and shifting it from one place to another.
One of the features I loved most about this website builder is the “Click to Tweet” boxes around various elements on your website.
For example, if a visitor selects some text, a little icon will appear asking if they would like to Tweet that as a quote.
It also works on images!
I was amazed by how quickly things get maneuvered in the Thrive Content Builder without any lags.
You can also create a blank template and start from scratch by dragging and dropping elements into the workbox.
But I recommend choosing one of the pre-made themes.
There are also over 100 landing page templates that you can customize and use as you please.
In other words, if building a list is on your to-do list, Thrive Content Builder has what you need.
It is simply one of the best page builder I’ve used.
Here are two videos on how to create websites like the ones above from scratch:
Thrive Headline Optimizer
Have you ever found yourself wondering if your headline is optimized for the best results?
Unfortunately, most of your website visitors will only read the headlines.
If you ever want to get people to notice your article, read your content, and take action, it starts with a great headline.
Your headlines need to capture your audience’s interest and convince them to read the rest of your content.
With Thrive Headline Optimizer, a small report on the side of your dashboard will display the expected impact of your headline.
It will list a wide range of factors, such as engagement rate, based on your headline alone.
You are able to do A/B split testing to determine the best headline to use for your article so that your traffic will not be wasted.
This Plugin is one of a kind, and it will definitely boost our website’s click-through rate.
Here’s a snapshot of the report you will get from this plugin:
More than just a test report on the best headline to use, it will also you show you how well your article is written by judging on the engagement level.
We must always be conscious of everything we do in our business. If your content is not engaging and converting enough, it is time to re-visit it and make amendments for the better.
Thrive Ovation is a WordPress plugin that makes it easy for you to include testimonials in all the right areas within your website.
I haven’t used this plugin yet, but I definitely see the value of it.
If you are offering a service online, testimonials can have a massive impact on your conversions.
One powerful testimonial can convince hundreds of people to hire you, especially if it’s in the right place.
With Thrive Ovation you can choose the areas of your website where you would like to include a testimonial.
You can also include portrait images in the testimonials for an even more powerful impact.
We know that it is important to have testimonials for our sales or landing pages, and like what Shane Melaugh, the co-founder of Thrive Theme said, “inserting the right testimonials in the right spot can lead to dramatic increase in conversion rate”.
Thrive Ovation is incredibly easy to use and it will spruce your site up with beautiful and professional testimonial designs.
In addition to providing you with a platform to share your testimonials, it also includes a testimonial capture service.
With this service, visitors can send their feedback directly to you and you can choose to display their comments on your website.
It’s much more convenient than having to ask each client for a testimonial.
You can also convert comments from social media, such as Facebook and Twitter, into image-based testimonials, along with the user’s profile picture.
There are also over 30 templates that you can use for your testimonials.
So if you are a freelancer or offering a service online, this simple testimonial plugin can drastically improve conversion on your website.
It will make it much easier for leads to trust you and turn into clients.
Here’s how it works:
Thrive Quiz Builder
Chances are you have seen quizzes and surveys on your Facebook news feed, as they’re the most popular form of content on social media.
Quizzes are fun and you can also use them to expand your business. Unfortunately, there are not many tools that you can use to build quizzes and display them on your website.
That’s where Thrive Theme’s Quiz Builder comes into the picture.
With Quiz Builder, it’s possible to build an extremely targeted email list. You can construct a wide variety of quizzes, and there’s a wide selection of templates available as well.
More importantly, there are no limits to the quizzes you can create, they’re all extremely customizable and you can make as many as you want.
The purpose of this plugin is to collect leads by asking for email addresses before delivering the results of the quiz.
Additionally, if the quiz was interesting and delivered accurate and though-provoking results, there’s a good chance it will go viral on social media.
I really like how you can use Quiz Builder to create small custom quizzes for any page or post on your website. Combine this plugin with the previous list building templates and you’ll have a massive email list in no-time.
The scarcity tactic is one that is used by marketers all over the world – because it works. Most sales pages nowadays are optimized to include timers because they have been known to boost conversions.
In simple terms, people want what they can’t have, and if you make it seem like your offer will expire soon, more people will want to purchase it.
Ultimatum’s main purpose is to provide you with a simple editor for creating countdown timers to promote your products.
You can customize virtually every aspect of the countdown timer and place it anywhere on your website, including specific pages and posts.
This plugin is ideal for website owners who are promoting a product, but not seeing the sales they desire.
With this plugin, a sales countdown will be added to your site, and this will make it clear if your visitors don’t act soon, the deal will expire.
One of my favourite features of this product is the ribbon feature.
There are a few different locations where you can display the countdown timer, one of which is called the ribbon. The ribbon is the top of the website, a small header that will always be on top of the screen regardless of which page or area of a post you are on.
In this case, the countdown will be in that area, and people will be reminded there’s a deal expiring soon, and that will lead to massive conversions.
It’s really an incredibly powerful plugin to boost sales!
Thrive Clever Widgets
Most website owners will promote the same products on their website’s sidebars, but not all of their posts relate to those products.
In other words, visitors will arrive to the website and see advertisements that are not related to the post they are on. This can lead to low conversion rates and high bounce rates.
To solve this problem, Thrive Theme created a plugin called Clever Widgets. With Clever Widgets, a small link is added to each of your widgets. When clicked, the link will provide you with targeting options so you can make sure your visitors can see the most related advertisements.
The targeting options include specific posts, pages, categories, and much more.
So you can choose exactly where you want your widgets to be shown.
For example, if someone is reading an article on your website about traffic generation, ideally the sidebar should display ads related to that topic.
With Clever Widgets, to accomplish that, all you have to do is click the display options and select the categories most related to traffic-gen. It’s very useful.
I searched for a similar plugin, but couldn’t find one anywhere else online, Clever Widgets is truly a unique solution.
Personally, I love the category targeting feature!
Why Pay for These Plugins?
Certainly there are free plugins that can deliver the same results.
Why should someone pay for these plugins?
The answer is simple; these plugins are better.
Most free plugins are created by small teams – sometimes even one person – and that leads to a poorly designed product.
Even if a plugin is well designed, it takes a long time for one person to work out all the little kinks and bugs.
Thrive Theme’s plugins are top-notch because the company has the resources necessary to build the absolute best products for their clients.
Most of their earnings are put back into the products, to make them better and more responsive than ever.
I would much rather pay for a well-design plugin than use a poorly designed free plugin.
Of course, if you can’t afford paid-plugins, it’s okay to start with free versions until you earn enough to invest quality tools for your business.
Plugins are an investment in your online business, and it makes sense to use the best ones out there.
One of the most recent factors that Google uses to rank a website is that websites loading speed.
Ideally a website needs to load as fast as possible, the faster the better.
You might think with all the plugins mentioned in this review the website will take a long time to load.
Originally that was my fear too.
But I tested these plugins and the website builder, and it can honestly say they do not negatively impact the performance of my website.
It still loads in a couple of seconds.
Each of these plugins is designed with speed in mind, and they’re incredibly optimized for load times.
The Cost of Owning Thrive Theme
So after hearing all the benefits of this product, chances are you want to know how much it will cost you.
Surprisingly, considering the benefits these plugins provide for your business, the entire package is relatively affordable.
You don’t need to worry about spending thousands of dollars.

- Thrive Content Builder: $67 for 1 website; $97 for 5 websites; $147 for 15 websites

I guarantee that you will not regret choosing Thrive Theme for your wordpress website.
You can also purchase the individual tools that you need for your business.
Like what Shane Melaugh, the co-founder of Thrive Theme said, he is obsess with page speed, and we, as Internet Marketer knows that it is one of the most important SEO factor.
I have tried many themes during my time as an internet marketer, and this one has got all the other themes beat by a long shot. The plugins are also incredibly useful.
What other Thrive Theme Customers have to say?
Thanks for reading this Thrive Theme review!
