Is Project Breakthrough a Scam?
Project Breakthrough consists of 14 video lessons which are unlocked one at a time. The way this program is set up reminds me of another program called “My Top Tier Business – 21 Steps Program“.
My Top Tier Business (MTTB) is a program that leads you to buy many other products and programs, and eventually leads you to sign up with a very expensive program called “My Online Business Empire”. Well, this review is all about Project Breakthrough, so I wouldn’t talk more about MTTB, and I hope Project Breakthrough does not follow the footstep of MTTB.
In this review, you will get to know everything that the Project Breakthrough has to offer and whether or not it is really worth joining them. The final decision is yours to make, so here goes:
DAY 1: INTRODUCTION
There is nothing much of value in this video other than an introduction of who Jason McClain and Vick Strizheus are.
I know Vick Strizheus back in the day when he created a similar Online Business Training platform called the “Big Idea Mastermind”.
I’ve written a review on it some time ago, and you can check it out here.
Big Idea Mastermind is a program that is set up to bring you into another program called Empower Network, which is a well known Online MLM Scam that calls people wusses if they did not purchase all the products from them (also known as “Go All In”).
Vick Strizheus has a tainted past (as you can see from this video), but like he mentioned in the project breakthrough video, his past shall not implicate his future, so I will look into Project Breakthrough with an open-mind, and hope that something good comes out of this program.
DAY 2: UNDERSTANDING ONLINE MARKETING (Update as at 26 March 2016)
This is a 83 minute video which shares with you the avenue to make money online, and also the terminology used in the online marketing space.
If you are not those who are patient enough to sit through such a long video, then Project Breakthrough is definitely not for you, because there are even longer videos over the course of 14 days, and it will be a dreaded process for you.
If you are interested in online marketing, but you do not want to go through long video presentations, I would suggest that you check out this program.
For the first quarter of the Day 2 video, Jason McClain explains what Affiliate Marketing is.
Affiliate Marketing is an avenue to generate income online, and it is the basis for which the project Breakthrough is wrapped around.
While Jason McClain uses many terminologies and details to explain what Affiliate Marketing is, which is great by the way, but I think the video below (Created by me) wraps up everything in 2 minutes:
The second and third quarter of the video explains what you need to look out for when finding an affiliate network, and also shares with you what type of products you should be selling online.
What Jason McClain fails to explain is that Affiliate Marketing focuses on a Niche, and the success of an Affiliate Marketer is driven by their passion in that specific niche.
Instead of finding the right product to sell, an Affiliate Marketer should be focused on what they are interested in and what drives them to set up an Affiliate Marketing business.
The last quarter of the video explains all the terminology used within the online marketing space, things like Pay-per-Click (PPC), Cost-per-Action (CPA), Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing, etc.
These are all general information that you can easily find for free on the internet, even “The Magic Formula”, as discussed in the Project Breakthrough, is easily available on the internet.
In general, the Day 2 video consolidates an overview (information you can find free on the internet) of everything you need to know about online marketing.
Hear me out, nothing is for free in this 14 days of training with Project Breakthrough.
If I am right about this, you will be conditioned in a way that you will need more information from the High Traffic Academy (“HTA”) in order for you to truly “Breakthrough” in your online business.
This is how these “Online Business Education” companies work in order to make money from people like you and me, but don’t get me wrong, I am sure if you pay for the education from the High Traffic Academy you will get at least some good value for your money.
I am just stating the fact that the agenda throughout this 14 day training process is for you to sign up with HTA. This agenda is not what Jason McClain and Vick Strizheus wants you to know at an early stage.
DAY 3: THE QUICKEST WAY TO PROFIT (Update as at 27 March 2016)
The first part of the video talks about the differences between Affiliate Marketing, Drop Shipping and Product Vendor (Product Creation), and why you should be in Affiliate Marketing than in the other two.
In the second part of this video, Vick shares with you the elements that drives a successful online marketing campaign.
The elements are “having a great product”, “having a great sales funnel”, “having targeted traffic”, “having a good email follow up system”. These elements are not a secret, just search “Elements of a successful online campaign” on Google and you will find the answers.
In the third part of the video, Vick shares the elements of building a successful sales funnel. Again, great info, but all can be found freely on the internet.
The thing that I admire most about Vick Strizheus is his ability to soft sell a product.
What I mean is he knows how to implant an idea in your mind at an early stage, and sell the idea to you at a later stage in a way that you can’t resist. He is a great marketer, I can’t argue about that, but it takes one to notice another, which is why I am sharing with you his hidden agenda in the day 3 video.
His hidden agenda in the video is to introduce you to Sitesuite, a web-based business that helps you create a website the way you like it.
In order to access to Sitesuite for free, you have to be a High Traffic Academy Elite member.
Well, he did not disclose the cost of joining HTA, which I am sure he will in a later stage, but let me share it with you now, it is $297/mth.
To me, it is way too expensive. I’ve been in the Affiliate Marketing business for several years and I can assure you that you do not need these high priced programs to be successful.
I’ve been through the hard road, and have succeeded, and I did it without spending much money. I got all my knowledge here.
The last part of the video will introduce you to how you can make money from Project Breakthrough. It simply means that you have to purchase at least a “Master Marketer” package ($2,995/year) in the High Traffic Academy in order to earn the maximum commission.
See, this is exactly what I’ve predicted. Just like My Top Tier Business (MTTB) which I have mentioned above, Project Breakthrough is a sales funnel that will lead you to sign up as a member with High Traffic Academy.
So I wouldn’t go through the remaining days of training because I know what exactly I will be getting into (a huge hole in my pocket).

At the end of the entire Project Breakthrough, your cost outlay (if you decide to purchase that entire range of products from High Traffic Academy) will be as follow:

Before you spend a few thousand dollars trying to get into this industry, stop and think if it is truly worth spending so much money without knowing what you getting into.
I would suggest for you to start small by undergoing training from this program.
My Sincere Advice to You
I’ll be very honest with you. I believe that you can get a lot of good information from the Project Breakthrough as with the High Traffic Academy, but its courses are way over-priced.
I also have doubts that you will immediately achieve massive results, like what Project Breakthrough promises.
On top of purchasing the educational programs in High Traffic Academy, you will need to spend money to drive traffic to your online campaigns.
Online campaigns require a lot of tweaking, trial and errors, which may equate to spending a lot of money.
Worst of all, if your online campaigns fail, you will lose the money that you spent on them, and also the money you paid to the High Traffic Academy, should you choose to give up.
If you are serious about making money online, I can honestly say that you can get started with very little money down.
You don’t even need a few hundred dollars getting into this industry.
All you need is a well structured educational program, some simple tools, and great support.
All these can be found in this program at a 99% discount, and I personally think that the education you can get in this program is so much better than High Traffic Academy.
So, basically you are getting a huge discount monetarily, and yet you get similar, if not better education on Internet Marketing.

Namaste Jack. I watched all the free “training” videos, and I’m ready to drop some serious truth bombs. I found the site of Ethan Vanderbuilt. He’s also a scam buster and told me that Vick is a long time scammer. Then he said that Wealthy Affiliate and 10 Minute Funnels (a funnel builder that’s even better than Vick’s) are not scams, which is great news.
In Project Breakthrough they announced something “special” at the end of the last free video… In August they will have a live event where they intend to launch a new training platform where they will charge people even more… and everyone can earn one million dollars or more in one single day, depending on how many people they referred to HTA Elite… And now to how this works… Someone who’s desperately trying to make some money online gets an email from out of the blue, often from a person they never opted in with to get their emails in the first place, which happened in my case. Then they go to the Project Breakthrough site and sign in, since it’s 100% free. After only 3 days they’re being told that it’ll cost them 297$ per month to join High Traffic Academy Elite, which is not optional if they want the additional 27 passive income streams. Also it gives them the chance to use SiteSuite, their “ultra advanced” funnel builder. This leaves people who don’t see that there are better options no choice, and they are tempted to join and do exactly as Vick says.
Some say they’ll wait until they’ve watched all free videos. And there, at the very end, Vick promises the world to everyone, by turning them into millionaires in a single day. But in order for them to get there they have to first become HTA Elite members for 297$ a month, then get their own special bundle deal with “super advanced” trainings that cost up to 1997$ a year (for Champion level including all trainings)… and finally when the new training platform is being launched during the live event in August they’ll be able to get in for around 7200$ (judging from the affiliate commission he mentioned) in order to enjoy the most advanced “super duper OMG can this be real” trainings ever created in the online marketing space.
Conclusion… Vick is not just another scammer… He is the king of scammers! Period. I’ve come across many scams, even fallen for a few… But this is by far the smartest scam ever! Countless people are falling for this left and right. And it’s spreading across the internet like a wildfire. I didn’t figure out how to cancel Project Breakthrough, so I just logged out and deleted the link from my bookmarks. Also unsubscribed and deleted all their emails. I’m going 100% with Wealthy Affiliate and 10 Minute Funnels. Oh, and Vick and Jason are now even involved in a scandal with Anthony Robbins, because one of the HTA members posted something on YouTube for which they had no permission. That’s all from me for now. I wish you the very best.
