What is Jewelry In Candles
Jewelry In Candles is a multi-level marketing company that sells scented candles, wax melts, and other home fragrance products.
Other MLM companies on the same niche are JewelScent, Partylite and Gold Canyon.
Jewelry In Candles was founded by a veteran entrepreneur and Internet marketer Paul Micah Buse in May of 2013.
Micah is the man behind Louisville Marketing, Inc – an SEO and Internet Marketing services provider.
This company’s former domain was “www.jewelryincandles.com” which is now acquired by the Jewelry Candles.

Jewelry In Candles Products
At the time I am writing this Jewelry In Candles review, Jewelry In Candles is no more and its product line has become part of JewelScent.
The main reason why many people are eager to purchase Jewelry In Candles products because its scented candles and wax melts has a hidden jewelry in them.
The hidden jewelry in each product is said to be valued anywhere from $10 to $10,000.
Although…
You are more likely to get a piece of cheap jewelry out of your scented candles or wax melts from Jewelry In Candles. Still, people are drawn to these kinds of products hoping to get lucky.
Furthermore, you will also get a chance to enjoy discounts and build a business by becoming a Jewelry In Candles distributor.
Do you believe you can get a piece of top-notch jewelry in one of Jewelry In Candles products? Is Jewelry In Candles a scam in your opinion?

How Much Does Jewelry In Candles Cost
The membership fee for Jewelry In Candles used to be $49.99 and $99, depending on the JIC Starter Kit that you choose.
But since Jewelry In Candles is now under the JewelScent, the membership fee is different. If you want to promote Jewelry In Candles products, you can become a JewelScent Consultant by paying $10 per month.
The scented candles are still 16 oz (453 g) soy wax in a 21 oz jar. Each will cost you between $25 to $30, but the value of the jewelry hidden on each product is now different.
Jewel values now range from $20 to $7500 compared to the original $10 to $10,000 with the Jewelry In Candles.

What You Need To Know About Jewelry In Candles
Before you decide on whether Jewelry In Candles is a scam or not, below are the critical things you should know about this company.
#1 Soy-based Scented Candles
Unlike the other top candle MLM companies that use paraffin wax, Jewelry In Candles use 100% soy wax to make its candles. Parrafin candles release toxic substances and soot when burned or melted. They also don’t last that long.
Meanwhile, soy-based candles are more economical because they will burn longer and its a safer, health-friendly alternative to paraffin wax candles.
#2 Jewelry In Candles vs. Jewelry Candles
A civil case was put into action between Louisville Marketing, Inc (dba Jewelry In Candles) and Jewelry Candles in November of 2016.
The owner of Jewelry Candles filed a complaint against Paul Micah Buse alleging the later with infringement of Jewelry Candles’ trademark rights.
Below are a few lines of the civil case.
“Around July of 2012, Osagie Enaiho (“Enaiho”) was operating an online business named Jewelry Candles (“JC”), which sells candles and wax tarts that contain concealed jewelry items….”
“In January of 2013, Enaiho contacted Louisville Marketing, Inc. (“LMI”) through LMI’s website seeking information about search engine optimization (“SEO”) and search engine marketing (“SEM”) services and graphic design services. LMI’s owner, Paul Micah Buse (“Buse”), responded to Enaiho’s request and asked for analytic reports and non-public analytics about JC’s website. “
“A few weeks later, LMI applied to assume the name “Jewelry in Candles” in Kentucky and filed the application with the Kentucky Secretary of State. JC believes LMI launched a competing online business around May 4, 2013, selling candles containing jewelry items under the trade name “Jewelry in Candles.”
During the publication of this Jewelry In Candles review, the domain “jewelryincandles.com” is already owned by Jewelry Candles. JewelScent has absorbed Micah Buse’s company.

#3 Most People Don’t Make Money Selling Jewelry In Candles
To be fair, this applies to all MLM companies, not only for Jewelry In Candles.
In fact, more than 95% of all people who join an MLM company don’t make a decent income. Some of them even acquired a lot of debts trying to keep up with monthly quotas and maintenance.
To help you decide on whether joining a candle MLM company is a suitable business for you, I will discuss the challenges that you are to face when you enter this type of company.

Why Most People Don’t Make Money With Jewelry In Candles
#1 Lack Of Leads
Scented candles, wax melts, and other scented products are not as appealing as food supplements.
Because while almost anyone will do anything, even buying overpriced supplements to stay healthy, not many people care about lighting scented candles.
These type of products are more of a luxury than a necessity.
So the first challenge you need to overcome is how to get an unlimited source of customers that will buy your products so you can earn a decent profit.
#2 Targeting The Wrong People
Now talking about potential customers and recruits, I know you are probably thinking about your friends and family.
I’ve been in multiple MLM companies and I will tell you right now.
Yes, your friends and family might buy your products at first to support you. But unless you have an excellent product, they are unlikely to purchase from you again.
Some of them may even join your team, again, just to support you. However, when the time comes that you will ask them to build a business with you, that is an entirely different story.
#3 Lack Of Skills
A lot of people who join an MLM company like Jewelry In Candles are newbies. Unfortunately, to make money and succeed in MLM, you will need to master the art of selling and recruitment.
To learn these skills, you will have to go out, talk to many people, and stomach tons of rejections. Sad to say, not many people can handle rejection, and most distributors will quit within their first months.
#4 Joining With A Wrong Mindset
If you are excited to join Jewelry In Candles (JewelScent) because you believe this is where you can make easy money, then you are mistaken.
No matter how the company or your sponsor sugarcoats it, making money in this business requires skills, hard work, and patience.
Before you dive into the MLM business, you must be aware of the cold hard truth about this industry.

Is Jewelry In Candles A Scam
No, Jewelry In Candles is not a scam. This is a legitimate MLM company.
There might have been some legal issues when it started, but I believe Jewelry In Candles is as legit as its arch-nemesis Jewelry Candles. Otherwise, JewelScent would not take part in this company.
