What is Ipsos i-Say?
Ipsos i-Say is an online survey portal owned by Ipsos, which is one of the largest market research companies in the world.
The company was founded in 1975 by a French businessman, Didier Truchot, and he served as the CEO of the company since 1988.
The purpose of Ipsos i-Say is to offer its members an opportunity to earn some money through completing online surveys.
And, with the data they collected from its members, it can be used by Ipsos in many ways.
At current, the online survey portal has hundreds of thousands of members. I don’t know about you, but to me, this is actually a bad thing. I’ll share with you why below.
Getting Started with Ipsos i-Say
Setting up an account on Ipsos i-Say is absolutely free, there is no such thing as an assessment or skills requirement either.
All you have to do is to answer some qualifying questions. Ipsos i-Say’s algorithm will use your answers to identify which surveys you are qualified for.
Once you are done with these questions, an email containing the account activation link will be sent to you.
Just open that link to get your account activated, and you are now ready to answer the surveys available on your dashboard.
Point System
Ipsos i-Say uses point system to pay the members, and these points can be redeemed in different ways. (I’ll discuss the redemption methods below)
Every point is equivalent to $0.01.
How can You Earn Points?
The company offers a number of ways for you to earn points.
#1 Earn by Answering Surveys
Unlike other survey sites where they offer many different ways to get paid like video viewing, product testing, etc…
Ipsos i-Say focuses solely on surveys.
<img alt=”Picture of available surveys on I-say ” width=’1009′ height=’517′ title=”I-say available surveys” data-id=’10600′ src=’//barenakedscam.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/I-say-available-surveys-Edited.jpg’ style=”width: 100%;”>
Each survey pays $0.45 up to $2, and the average payment for each survey is 90 points which is equivalent to $0.90.
There is a short qualifying test for each survey, and if you don’t qualify, you can still get 5 points for trying.
Loyalty Program
The company also has a consolation prize for the members, it is the Loyalty Program.
Every member is qualified for this program, wherein each of them gets a points bonus based on the number of surveys they participate in.
These are the equivalent points that a member can get:
- 5 surveys = 25 points
- 15 surveys = 50 points
- 200 surveys = 600 points
As you can see from the list above, the more surveys you participate in, the higher the bonuses you’ll get.
Limited Survey Offers per Day
Even though answering surveys look like a good option since there is a loyalty program, it has a catch.
The number of surveys offered on your dashboard is limited. As I have mentioned above, survey offers are based on your answers on the qualifying questions.
Aside from that, there is a high competition of members on this platform, so do not expect that you can get a lot of survey offers every day.
#2 Earn Points by Participating in Contests
Aside from a typical survey, you can also earn points by participating in a number of contests.
Welcome Draw
All new members are automatically entered into this contest. 30 winners will get $100 every four months.
Click Draw
To be qualified for this contest, you have to keep checking and responding to profile updates’ questions.
The winner will receive a total of 10,000 points. But considering the massive number of members, winning on this contest is a pure luck.
Ipsos i-Say’s prize draws
The qualification for this contest is a little different.
You’ll be invited to play Poll Predictor every time you complete a survey. This game is on the “Polls” section.
<img alt=”Picture of I-say’s Poll Predictor” width=’605′ height=’543′ title=”I-say Poll Predictor” data-id=’10606′ src=’//barenakedscam.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/I-say-Poll-Predictor-Edited.jpg’ style=”width: 100%;”>
Playing Poll Predictor is just simply guessing the percentage of people who answered “Yes” on different questions.
After playing the game, a certain amount of “chances” will be awarded to you based on how close your guess is.
You can now use the ‘chances’ you’ve earned to join the Ipsos i-Say’s prize draws.
#3 Earn Points by Inviting Your Friends
You can also earn points by inviting your friends to join Ipsos i-Say. You’ll earn 100 points per individual who’ll join the platform.
But it isn’t as easy as you think of, as you’ll need to have their email addresses. You have to log-in into the platform and send them an invite email.
Redeeming Your Points?
Ipsos i-Say offers a lot of ways to redeem the points that you have earned.
The rewards can be either a gift card, PayPal funds, or a donation to partnered charities. You can redeem your points as long as you have already earned a minimum of 500 points.
<img alt=”picture of I-say’s redemption method” width=’1009′ height=’499′ title=”I-say redemption 1″ data-id=’10608′ src=’//barenakedscam.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/I-say-redemption-1-Edited.jpg’ style=”width: 100%;”><img alt=”picture of I-say’s redemption method” width=’997′ height=’413′ title=”I-say redemption 2 (Edited)” data-id=’10609′ src=’//barenakedscam.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/I-say-redemption-2-Edited.jpg’ style=”width: 100%;”>

The Ugly Truths About Ipsos i-Say
#1 Limited Surveys to Work On
Even though the surveys are easy to complete, it is limited.
Remember when I said having too many members in Ipsos i-Say is a bad thing? This is what I mean.
There are just too many members in there are too little survey opportunities to go around.
Some users are even complaining that they are not getting any offers at all.
And just like with the other survey sites, the payment rate is low.
Considering these two factors, there is no guarantee that you can earn enough money even if you spend a lot of your time on this platform, and there is a possibility you won’t earn at all.
This is one of the reasons why I don’t recommend paid survey platforms, especially if you are looking for a means to earn a decent income.

#2 Random Issues with the Website
Ipsos i-Say’s website interface is clean, but it will not hide the fact that it still has some random issues.
Some are technical issues while the answering the surveys, just like the picture below:
<img alt=”picture of ISay website random issues” width=’1460′ height=’690′ title=”ISay website random issues” data-id=’10612′ src=’//barenakedscam.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/ISay-website-random-issues-Edited.jpg’ style=”width: 100%;”>
A lot of users are also complaining that the list of available surveys on the dashboard isn’t always updated.
Is Ipsos i-Say a Scam?
Well, in general Ipsos i-Say is not a scam. It is not their fault if they didn’t compensate you for your time spent on the platform.
It is due to general market conditions that they are lacking on survey opportunities, and this will continue to be the case. I’ve created a video explaining why Online Survey Platforms are struggling to find surveys for their members.
Honestly, if you are looking for a stable source of income, then Ipsos i-Say may not be a good option, even though it is not a scam.
You won’t find enough surveys going around, you risk wasting your time on the platform, and worst, you don’t get paid at all.
So, even if Ipsos i-Say is not a scam, I would advise against joining.
