Branded Surveys Review Summary

Name: Branded Surveys (formerly known as MintVine)

Creators: Branded Research Inc.

Branded Surveys Review - Is it a scam or legit

What I like:

  • Multiple ways to earn points (paid surveys, completing offers, participating in polls, referring people)
  • The minimum cash out threshold is 1,000 points (equivalent to $10). Some survey sites requires a minimum of $25 to cash out.
  • There are multiple ways to redeem your points (Paypal, Amazon Gift Cards, bpay, prepaid virtual credit cards, etc.)

What I dislike:

  • Paid Surveys - You may get "screened out" - Half way working on a survey you thought you qualified for, you may be thrown out of the survey because you are "not the right person for the survey"
  • Daily Polls - Though you can earn 5 points per poll, it is limited to 1 per day
  • There are limited surveys and offers available
  • There is a chance that you might not get paid - All completed surveys and offers are evaluated, and if you don't meet the criteria, you may not get paid
  • Most of the surveys or offers pays like than 100 points (equivalent to $1)

I am pretty sure that you have landed here because you wanted to know if this is a good way to trade your time for cash.

What is Branded Surveys?

Branded Surveys Home Page

Branded Surveys is a paid survey platform established by Branded Research Inc..

It was formerly known as, MintVine, but it was re-brand as Branded Surveys in November 2017.

Currently, it has millions of members, and it still continues to be one of the most popular platforms in the survey market.

How Does Branded Surveys Work?

Branded Surveys ratings

Members get paid with points for every survey they complete.

The points conversion system is pretty simple, 100 points is equivalent to $1.

Your earnings can be redeemed using a number of options where you can choose from.

I'll discuss more about the point conversion system below.

#1 How to Get Started with Branded Surveys

Registration Process

Creating an account is absolutely free.

You just need to provide your email address, some of your basic information, and a password that you prefer.

But you can also use your Facebook account to sign up if you want to register faster.

An email containing a confirmation link will be sent to you. Just open that link to confirm your registration.

Complete Your Profile

After you've successfully registered, you have to complete a personal profiling survey, where you will be rewarded 50 points after completion.

Branded Surveys will use your answers to decide which surveys you qualify for.

#2 How to Earn Points on Branded Surveys

Earn Points by Completing Surveys

After completing your profiling survey, survey offers should immediately be available to you on your dashboard.

Each survey commonly takes around 10-20 minutes to be completed, and pays less than 100 points.

Branded Surveys' survey start

The worst part of everything is getting "screened out" after working on a "qualified survey".

Which means that half way through completing a survey, you were told that you are "not the right person for the survey".

But, Branded Surveys will still give you 6 points if you ever get "screened out".

I am not sure what you think about this...

Personally, I would be furious to be wasting my time on a survey that I should have qualified for. The 6 points compensation isn't justified in my opinion.

Worst of all, you will not receive your reward immediately after the survey.

The points will be on a pending status for about 14 days, and during this period, the Branded Surveys' business partners will validate your answers.

There is a chance that you will not be paid at all if you did not meet their criteria.

Earn Points by Doing Offers

You can also earn points by doing offers, such as, a subscription of a certain service, app installation, and a lot more.

To make this possible, Branded Surveys made a partnership with different third-party companies:

  • Offertoro
  • Personaly
  • Peanutlabs
  • Adwall
  • TrialPay
  • AdGate

Most of the offers pay less than 100 points, and it varies depending on the type of offer that you are working on.

Like the paid surveys, the points you earn will also undergo a pending status for up to 14 days.

Earn Points by Completing Daily Polls

Branded Surveys daily poll

You can also earn a small amount of points by completing the daily polls.

Polls are only available once per day, and it pays 5 points.

You can't earn much, but it is the fastest way to earn points.

Earn Points by Referring Your Friends

You'll automatically have your unique referral link once you become a member.

You can share your referral link via email, on social media, or on your website.

A certain amount of points will be sent to you when your referrals complete a survey or an offer. However, you can only start earning from the referral program when you reach the Silver Branded Elite status...

What is Branded Elite?

Branded Elite is composed of 3 badges; the bronze, silver, and gold. Every new member automatically gets a bronze badge.

They determine how many bonus points you can get. In other words, the higher level of badge you have, the greater bonus points you can get.

How to Get Higher Badges?

You can get a higher badge by earning credits, and it can only be earned by completing surveys and doing offers.

You will get 1 credit for every 10 points that you earn from surveys and offers.

The list below shows the number of credits that you need to get a higher badge:

  • Silver Badge = 60 credits
  • Gold Badge = 210 credits

#3 How Can You Redeem Your Earnings

You can redeem the points you've earned as long as you already have at least 1000 points ($10).

Branded Surveys offers a lot of ways to redeem your earnings. You can redeem your points via PayPal, gift cards, prepaid virtual credit cards, and a lot more.

The payment takes 3-5 business days to process.

What I Dislike About Branded Surveys

#1 It is Only Available on Several Countries

Branded Surveys is currently available in the US, Canada and UK.

It only means that you will not have a chance to earn on this platform if you live in a different country.

It is one of the problems that I commonly notice on paid survey sites. The opportunities are always limited  demographically.

#2 Limited Surveys to Work On

Some factors can affect the number of surveys available to you.

Firstly, surveys has demographical and personal requirements based on what clients need.

Secondly, it is the number of active members on the platform.

To be honest, there isn't any lack of demand for paid work, but there is a limited supply.

If you are not active on the platform, other members will scoop up your available surveys and offers.

There is no guarantee that you can work on a lot of surveys. And you might not get any offer at all for the worst case scenario.

#3 You Might Not Get Paid

As I have mentioned above, your points will undergo a pending status.

This is where the clients validate your answers. There is a chance that they will not pay you at all if they are not satisfied with it.

#4 You May Get Screened Out

The worst part of completing any surveys is that you can't complete it at all.

You thought that you've qualified for a survey because it is available on your dashboard...

But, halfway through the survey, you are thrown out (screened out).

It is definitely frustrating it that happens, it would mean that you've wasted your time and effort.

#5 Daily Polls are Limited to One per day

Daily poll is the easiest and fastest way to earn points.

Although you can't earn much (5 points per poll), if there are a lot of polls available to you, you can simply clock up a lot of points in a short period of time.

However, this avenue is only available once per day.

Is Branded Surveys a Scam?

Branded Surveys is not a scam...

You do get paid for completing surveys and offers, and it is completely free to join.

However, as I've mentioned above, while there is no financial risk...

You risk wasting your time and effort.

The surveys you thought you qualify for, you may be thrown out (screened out) if you did not meet the criteria half way through.

And, all completed surveys and offers are further evaluated by the survey partners, and there is a chance that you may not get paid for your efforts.

This is the reason why I don't recommend Branded Surveys though it is not a scam.

My Sincere Advice to You

If your goal is to turn your spare time into cash, you can try Branded Surveys.

However, it may not be a good platform for you if you are looking for a way to earn a passive full-time income.

If you want to learn how to earn a substantial amount of money online, the best place I recommend you start is through this program.

This program has helped a lot of newbies, including me, to become successful online. Here's my story if you are interested.
