There are probably thousands of MLM companies launched every single year.
Perhaps every day there will be one new MLM company waiting to be launched.
Let’s be honest to ourselves, some of these MLM companies are scams. These scammers are filled by the desperation for greed and power. They built their way into the eyes of the innocent victims.
You are here because you wanted to know if Norwex is a scam or is it a legitimate business opportunity.
In this review, I will share with you everything you need to know in order for you to make an informed decision. Rest assure that this Norwex review will be completely honest and straight-forward.
A hint for you: Norwex is… not a scam! Congratulations if you are a part of it, but don’t be happy just yet. It is not easy to succeed in this business.
I will discuss more on the later part of this review.
What is Norwex?
Norwex is a giant MLM company co-founded by Bjørn Nicolaisen.
It was founded in Norway as early as 1994.
Norwex, with more than 20 years of experience is led by Global Chief Executive Officer, Eivind Schackt.
4 years after starting the business, Norwex successfully expanded their operation to Canada and North America.
During year 2008, they expanded their way to Australian market.
One year later, they own a production facility in China.
As of today, Norwex has grown to have up to 40,000 distributors. Below is the list of countries Norwex has expanded thus far:
- Australia
- Canada
- Deutschland
- Eisti
- Ireland
- Latvija
- Lietuva
- New Zealand
- Norge
- Sweden
- United Kingdom
- United States
What does Norwex Offer?
Their business focuses on pure cleaning products, and their selling point is to have cleaning products free from chemicals.
Throughout the years their product line has expanded into personal care products, kitchen cleaning kit, and home products.
Norwex’s microfiber cleaning cloth claimed to be widely known amongst household owners.
Other popular products from Norwex are dusting mitt, cleaning paste, wool dryer balls, mop system and Ultra Power Plus.
Based on many of my findings on Norwex, majority claimed to have positive feedback from their products offerings.
No doubt we can find positive review on their widely known microfiber cloth.
Norwex’s product scored incredibly well out of 35 reviewers who used their products.

Some of these findings seem to prove many positive side on how Norwex helps them in their daily cleaning errands. They seem to please many home owners and moms.
But, what about the negative feedback? During my attempt to source for negative rating on their products, honestly there are none.
Why Norwex is NOT a Scam?
If Norwex is a scam, it could have been shut down long ago, right? Lol!
Norwex is a long standing company since 1994, and they have established themselves as a positive brand for home owners.
They offer real products for regular consumers, and their products are well received by their customers (as you can see from the product review above).
Why almost 95% of distributors fail in Norwex?
Although Norwex is legitimate, and its products are amazing, it doesn’t mean that you will be successful joining it.
The fact remains that only 5% of the distributors are successful. Harsh reality about MLM is that, you either win it or lose it.
There is no space for middle-income distributors in MLM. Here are the reasons why most people fail.
Hopeful distributors get the wrong mindset
Many distributors wish to start MLM on the side. Many have either earned a stable paycheck or a full time job.
Most distributors who signed up did not spend too much time hustling for it. That’s where most distributors fail.
Sales do not come by itself, it takes a lot of dedication and initiative to achieve even one single sale.
There is an important need to motivate yourself to become a great distributors.
There are hundreds, if not thousands of distributors like you trying to sell same product for the same consumer. How do you work your way out to convince them to buy from you?
Joining the wrong team
The Norwex opportunity is not a solo adventure. It needs a great team to be successful.
Like many MLM companies out there, there is a need for a great leader to guide new joiners to get started.
Some leaders have a selfish thought of sucking the commissions out of their downline, but they do not support them along the way.
If you are unlucky enough to join the wrong team or the wrong leader, chances are you will quit the game all together.
Target the wrong group of audience
Many hopeful distributors turn to social media to grab attention of potential consumers.
In a very competitive industry today, social media may not work effectively.
Perhaps you think that sharing a post on Facebook increase a chance to win a sale.
In fact, they might not even be a potential consumer, they are merely a general audience who doesn’t even bother reading it.
The products of Norwex serves a niche market. Unless you are able to target the specific niche audience, you should not waste time sharing information blindly through social media.
Not Enough Prospects
If it’s not through social media, your next target would be the people in your social circle.
You’ll probably target your friends or family members who are housewives. Here’s a statistic that I’ve accumulated over my years of experience with MLM companies.
Because the product is good, we could say that out of a 100 people that you met, 40 of them would buy at least a product from Norwex.
And, out of the 40 customers, 5 may be interested in joining Norwex as a distributor, but only 1 will successfully join.
Now, what happens next? Do you have another 200 to 300 people to meet in order to recruit 3 distributors?
You must also remember that there is a high percentage of distributors who drop out, so where do you find your replacement?
We know that in any MLM opportunity, you need to recruit new distributors in order to be successful.
The problem is, where do you find them.
My Sincere Advice to You
If you are seriously considering the Norwex business opportunity, you may need to fulfill or develop these two requirements.
Firstly, you need a strong value in dedication and hard work.
Secondly, is to delve into your belief in the business and its products.
Do you believe in Norwex’s product? Have you used any of their products before? Do you know many homeowners or housewives who use cleaning products? If you are unable to answer them, this business may not be a good option for you.
Being good in a business requires you to understand the very fundamental of their industry nature.
Consumers would love to know how passionate you are in promoting the products. You can’t fake it to convince a consumer to buy it from you.
However, if you truly believe in their product and you know them well, if not better than your consumers, then you will have a long way to go in this business.
Now, what if the Norwex business opportunity isn’t for you? What’s next?
