Is Survey Club a Scam? – No, BUT It is Just a Middle Man!
You’ve probably come across Survey Club if you are looking for a way to earn some extra cash online.
And as you might already know, this platform offers online surveys. You can join for FREE and participate in surveys to earn some cash.
Survey Club claims that it “will connect you with the best available paid research studies”, earn cash by participating in them, and cash out when you earn at least $20.
However, most of the survey offers are taken from other survey sites (such as Toluna and Ipsos i-Say). This platform is much like a middle man, such as Survey Compare.
Survey Club has their own survey offers though. However, it isn’t that much and you’ll have the risk of being screened out.
So considering these factors, you might have a hard time reaching the minimum cash-out threshold ($20).
This is the reason why I don’t recommend Survey Club.
If you want a quicker way to cash out, you may want to check out PrizeRebel because the payout threshold is only $5.
This platform offers a lot of ways to earn points (such as online surveys, paid offers, promotional videos, and referral program).

How Does Survey Club Work?
Getting Started with Survey Club
Survey Club is available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia.
Anyone who is 13 years old or older can register for free.
You have to input some of your personal and demographic information to get started.
Survey Club will use these data to decide which survey you might qualify for.

After that, the platform will ask you to choose at least 3 survey panels in the list. Most of the survey offers that you’ll get will be drawn from these survey sites.
<img alt=”Survey Club review – Survey partners” width=650 height=388 title=”Survey partners” data-id=11445 src=https://barenakedscam.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Survey-partners-edited.jpg style=”width: 100%;”>
You have to register for each of the survey panels that you’ll choose. It is actually time consuming, as it might take you 10 minutes to register for each of them.
Aside from that, here’s what you don’t know yet…
These survey sites have a referral program, and Survey Club will be rewarded when you join these survey panels through its platform.
Survey Club says that you can earn a substantial amount of money with them if you’ll register with these survey sites. But NO! It will be the one who’s going to benefit from you.
After a successful registration, you can start completing the surveys available for you.
Are the Survey Offers Worth Your Time?
Surveys could either reward you with cash, gift card, or a sweepstakes entry.
I like the fact that you can easily choose the type of survey that you want to work on.
Survey Club offers the feature to filter the survey offers based on its type, length, and reward.
For example, if you prefer to get rewarded with cash, then you can just choose to view survey offers that pay with cash. As simple as that!
<img alt=”survey club scam – Filtering survey offers” width=304 height=480 title=”Filtering survey offers” data-id=11460 src=https://barenakedscam.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Filtering-survey-offers-edited.jpg style=”width: 100%;”>
However, it is important to know that most of the survey offers are taken from the survey sites that you chose during the registration process.
It means that you’ll have to complete these surveys directly into those survey sites.
<img alt=”survey club review – available studies” width=599 height=597 title=”available studies” data-id=11462 src=https://barenakedscam.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/available-studies-edited.jpg style=”width: 100%;” data-tcb-events=__TCB_EVENT_[{"config":{"title":"available-studies-edited.jpg","id":"11462","size":"full"},"a":"thrive_zoom","t":"click"}]_TNEVE_BCT__>
Survey Club has few survey offers of its own. However, I found out that some of them are already closed, and yet, they are still offered to the members!
<img alt=”Survey Club Scam – Survey is closed” width=750 height=193 title=”Survey is closed” data-id=11463 src=https://barenakedscam.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Survey-is-closed-edited.jpg style=”width: 100%;”>
It is frustrating to get an offer that is actually not available anymore, and it is the reason why some people say that Survey Club is a complete waste of time.
Survey Club’s Referral Program
The referral program of Survey Club is an “easy money”. However, it is only limited.
You’ll earn $1 from each of your friends that will sign up through your referral link. As easy as that!
However, you are allowed to refer up to five individuals only. So overall, you can earn up to $5 through the referral program.
How to Redeem Your Earnings?
As I have mentioned above, you can get rewarded with cash, gift card, or sweepstakes entry. But most of the time, you’ll be rewarded with cash.
You’ll need to earn at least $20 to redeem your money, and you can transfer it directly into your PayPal account.
However, you might have a hard time reaching this amount considering these reasons:
- Survey Club doesn’t offer much surveys
- Some survey offers are already closed
- It is tough to qualify for surveys
- The referral program is limited
Most of the survey sites have a high cash-out threshold ($20 – $25). Because of this, some of the members gave up working on survey panels.
Ugly Truths About Survey Club
#1 You Are Required to Register on Other Platforms (It is Time-consuming!)
This is what I actually dislike about Survey Club, as it will require you to register on other platforms just to get started.
You have to choose at least three survey panels, and it can be time-consuming to complete your profile on each of them.
Let us do the math…
Registering and completing a profile on a survey site could take you up to 10 minutes.
So if you are going to register on Survey Club (plus on 3 survey panels), you might spend up to 40 minutes just to get started.
#2 Survey Club Doesn’t Really Care for You?!
As you already know, most of the survey sites have a referral program. Survey Club will be rewarded when you join on these sites through its platform.
It is actually the reason why Survey Club requires you to register on at least three survey sites. The more panel you’ll choose, the more money they will earn from you. It’s as simple as that.
But take a look at this, instead of giving you the best survey opportunities, the platform focuses more on convincing you to register on these survey sites.
It seems to me that Survey Club is more interested in leveraging from you rather than on helping you to earn more money in its platform.
#3 Most of the Survey Offers are NOT FROM Survey Club!
As I have already mentioned earlier, most of the survey offers are drawn from other survey sites.
It means that your earnings would split up on these panels, and you’ll have to reach their cash-out thresholds.
But remember, every survey site has its own cash out threshold. Some threshold could be as high as $50, and some could be as low as $5.
But no matter what survey site that is, you’ll have to face the fact that there’s not much offers for you to complete.
#4 Survey Club’s Survey Offers Aren’t Worth Your Time!
Survey Club has its own survey offers.
But it isn’t that much, and most of the time, the offers are problematic.
I have seen a lot of frustrated users who claimed that most of the surveys offered to them were already closed.
The problem doesn’t just stop there!
It is also difficult to qualify for them. Screening questions might appear anywhere on a survey, and if your answer isn’t something what they are looking for, Survey Club would kick you out of the survey right away.
Most of the users have experienced this issue…
<img alt=”survey club scam” width=863 height=342 title=”people get screened out” data-id=11469 src=https://barenakedscam.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/people-get-screened-out-edited.jpg style=”width: 100%;”>
Actually, it is a common problem of the survey industry. And it is the reason why I don’t recommend survey sites in the first place.

#5 Cashing Out is Almost Impossible!
The cash out threshold is $20.
Some members were able to redeem their money, but it is after working on the platform for a couple of months.
Either you believe it or not, cashing out is almost impossible if you are not willing to spend a lot of time and efforts.
It is because Survey Club doesn’t have much surveys offers, and it is really hard to qualify for them.
If you are in need of quick cash, Survey Club is not a good option for you.
Unlike with Survey Club (and other GPT sites as well), PrizeRebel’s minimum cash out threshold is low. You only need to earn at least $5 worth of points to redeem your money.
So if you are going to ask me, I would prefer joining PrizeRebel instead.
Do I Recommend Survey Club?
Is Survey Club a scam? NO it is not.
Survey Club is a legitimate platform. The registration is free, and you can really earn money. And aside from that, some users were able to redeem their earnings.
But even though it is legitimate, I don’t recommend Survey Club due to these reasons…
Firstly, instead of giving you more survey opportunities, Survey Club focuses more on convincing you to register on other survey sites (they want to earn money from you).
Secondly, most of the survey offers are taken from other research panels. Because of this, your earnings would split up.
Cashing out your earnings would become even harder, as survey panels have different cash out thresholds, and most of them are considerably high ($20-$50).
Lastly, there is not enough supply of survey opportunities, and it is really tough to qualify for them. You might need to spend months on working on the platform to earn $20.
This earning potential doesn’t justify your hard work. That’s why I am against joining survey sites if you want to earn a substantial amount of money.
My Sincere Advice to You
After trying a lot of survey sites and Get Paid To (GPT) platforms, I can say that Survey Club is one of the one worst.
But don’t get me wrong, it is a legitimate platform that is hard to get money from.
If you are only looking for a way to make a quick cash using your spare time, I would recommend that you join PrizeRebel instead.
It is the best Get Paid To (GPT) platform that I have tried so far. PrizeRebel offers a lot of ways to earn points, and the minimum payout threshold ($5) is user-friendly.
However, if you are willing to dedicate your time and efforts into something that would help you earn a substantial amount of money online, then Get Paid To (GPT) site is not the right way for you.
I recommend that you start using this program instead.
This is the program that’s responsible behind the thousands of success stories online, including mine. You can check my humble story here if you are interested.
